Flight Of Idea "BEAT BOAT"

Spoken words is a terribly small genre in Japan. Flight of Idea is one of rare bands which features a poet instead of vocal for their voice. This song is their first published song in the last five years since their second album of 2005 Talk Hard, that was compiled in the "inspired album" for the movie Kanikosen which was a film adaptation of the famous proletariat novel in the early 20th century.

Ishiatamazizo "Kaso" (cremation)

Ishiatamazizo, means Stone Head Statue, just debuted on last Novemver with remastering their CDR album and they just dropped their second album carbide on April. The metal solid guitar of them are sounds like the early 90s Touch and Go. Or, is it the revival of the No Wave? But, you may surprised when you heard that they are 40 something. SO, they are the generation of No Wave?

Sinsei Kamatte Chan "Rock'n'Roll ha Nariyamanai!!" (Can't Stop Rock'n'Roll)

After we introduced them on last November, the nerd quartet became the biggest hype of indie rock in 2010. In fact, their budget for recording and making videos were funded by Warner. They dropped their debut album Tomodachi wo Koroshite made (Even though I kill my friends), but their songs and words were disappointedly mediocred. And they announced that they gonna release their new single from Warner.

Soutaiseiriron "Miss Parallel World"

Soutaiseiriron has transformed from a new indie hero to a new rock hero of the 00s. They dropped their new and 3rd album Synchroniciteen on this month. They still don't show up on the media while they are really hard-working on recording with other musicians in their older generation. This song was pretty represented their music; indie rock meets Japanimation voice.

Meri Nikula + Dowding-Club "Sound Chess"

That's awesome video! Dowding-Club are left field experimental duo of modern artists Akihiko Taniguchi and Naoto Sekijima. This video shows their instrument that made chess as a musical instrument like teremin. And a freaky Bjork-ish female vocalist howls with that noise. So experimental.
